Some shows I've enjoyed
ALIAS GRACE
Netflix co-production, 2017: starring Sarah Gadon
This is another Margaret Atwood book adaptation, into a 6 episode miniseries which got completely overshadowed by Handmaid's Tale.
- Historical fiction period drama, ending is true to the book.
CLAIM TO FAME
USA S1 2022, S2 2023
Hosted by 2 Jonas brothers, Kevin and Frankie.
- Competitive reality show: $100K prize, pop culture and celebrity knowledge. Family members of celebrities try to suss out the identities of everyone else, while keeping theirs a secret. There have been some big names.
- IMO an exception where seeing the same challenges repeated in different seasons doesn't make them less entertaining (I can't say the same about The Traitors, for example).
There is a season 3 in 2024, but I was a little disappointed in how it ended.
RED EYE
UK 2024: starring Richard Armitage
- Plane-based as you might have guessed from the title, 6 episode miniseries. Clear ending as a standalone if not renewed.
Minor plot spoiler:
.

.
Has a closed environment murder mystery.

SPREADSHEET
Australia 2021: starring Katherine Parkinson, AKA 'Laura' from Humans
- Contemporary: a woman needs her assistant to keep a spreadsheet of her dating/sex life.
WILL TRENT
USA, 2022
- Police procedural drama but with THE CUTEST AND BEST DOGGIE ACTOR chihuahua, from someone who doesn't really care for the breed. Based on a book series.
