Not gonna lie, the panda favicon definitely helped sway me to giving this platform a try. How's a panda fan to refuse? So cute :)
I don't know if this will be just a trend/fad for me, like other interests that have run their course and come and gone, but simpler platforms, along with simplifying in general, seem attractive now.
I'm not sure being truly "minimalist" is in the cards for me, at this moment, but I want to simplify to reduce the amount of stuff.
Also, while I've heard of markdown, I can't believe it took me SO long to actually check it out. And I can see why it's widely used, there's something elegant about the way it uses line spacing and the keyboard that is logical and not too hard to understand and use.
